Language Proficiency Policy

It is recognized that a high degree of proficiency in reading, writing, listening, and speaking is extremely important for providing safe Medical Laboratory services. Therefore demonstrated language proficiency is one element of fitness to engage in Medical Laboratory Technology practice.

At our last CMLTM Council meeting, a motion was passed to approve a new Language Proficiency Policy. It is now in effect for all new applicants to the CMLTM.

If you have any questions regarding the new policy, please do not hesitate to contact our Registrar at adam@cmltm.ca or our Deputy Registrar at tricia@cmltm.ca
